If you’re a business owner that uses landing pages to convert leads into paying customers… This is for you! In today's article I’ll show you how to build landing pages that convert.

We use landing pages for pretty much everything we do when we want people to opt in on something.

Therefore they are an essential element in most online marketing we do.

And the problem is that most businesses actually have no idea how to build landing pages that convert…

They send people to a landing page that (In marketing terms) sucks…

And end up losing a ton of money. On both ends.

One: The money they spend on ads is a waste because no leads are opting in.

Two: Opportunity cost. All the money they could’ve made if the landing page would do what it’s supposed to do, convert.

If you were or currently are in that situation… You don’t have to worry about not converting landing pages anymore, because I am going to show you right now how to change that.

The Secret To High-Converting Landing Pages

Before I give you the blueprint to build high-converting landing pages, let me give you three things you want to avoid at all cost:

  • Don’t make it too text heavy and don’t overload it with information

  • Don’t use too much jargon or complex language

  • DON’T BE BORING

All right.

Ready?

Here is the secret sauce:

How To Build High-Converting Landing Pages

Just like in advertising, your landing page should have one goal, and one goal only.

And you want to make it as eaaaaaasy as possible for the lead to take the action you want them to take.

Therefore your layout should look like one of these three examples (Which I found work the best for me and others):

Headline, subhead, contact info, submit

or

Headline, subhead, image, contact info, submit

or (even better)

Headline, subhead, image, contact info, submit, bullet points

The important part here is to make it as simple as possible.

Remember, we’re here to test and find out what works best.

The fewer variables you have to test, the quicker you can improve and optimize.

People who want your product or service and click on the link that brings them to your landing page don’t want to read tons of stuff, they don’t want to fill out an entire side of information.

The simpler you make it for them, the easier and straight forward you make it, the higher chance you have that they convert.

Now, I need to add something important…

The more questions you add, the more they need to fill out, you’ll get fewer people to convert, but those who convert will be more qualified.

So if you get too many leads add some qualification steps, if you get fewer leads remove some.

This is something you need to test around with and figure out what works best for your target audience.

Now you know what most people don’t know. Go out there, and try it out.
