Three vital keys to succeed in any business

I want to tell you about three key elements I learned that are essential to succeed in any business which I wish I would have known when I first started out. If you want to start your first business or already have one but you’re struggling to grow… This is for you. Let’s get into it.

When I started my first business I had absolutely no idea what to start.

I didn't know what to look for, what I should sell and who I should sell it to.

I mean honestly, I didn't know much about business at all. All I know, is I’m sick of the system and 9-5 jobs and want to start my own thing.

And that’s exactly what I’ve done.

Without knowing anything about it, I’ve picked the most attractive business model and started to build it.

Now let me tell you, If I would have known the three keys I am about to tell you at the beginning…

It would have taken me half the time to succeed and I would not have to face most of the problems I’ve been running into.

Starting a business is definitely not easy, and even better, every year you hear about THE BEST business to start or THIS business model is dead…

The truth is, every business still works.

There are some which work better than others and there are some which are more beginner friendly.

So don’t waste too much time overthinking what the best business to start is and use the three keys which I am about to give you, to save you a lot of time and prevent running into a ton of issues.

A problem people are trying to solve

The first thing you need to understand when starting your business is…

Is there a customer base, and is there an actual problem people are trying to solve.

Now you would not believe how many people get even something simple like that totally wrong.

To give you an example…

Let’s say you want to sell a “Shoulder pain prevention course”.

Now, this would be impossible to sell.

If I don't have problems with my shoulder I don't need a course on how to prevent shoulder pain. Why would I even buy that right?

But if you would sell a course or a treatment on how to fix shoulder pain forever, guaranteed…

This would be a perfect thing to sell, because it’s a major problem that people face and want to get solved.

The reason I gave this simple example is to show you that if the problem is not alive in your customers mind, and they’re not really facing it, you’ll find it impossible to sell.

First key to succeed in any business issss…

Find a problem people want to get solved and bring the solution.

Business owners want more clients, people with shoulder pain want less pain, overweight people want to lose weight, and on and on.

You get the idea. Let’s get to the second key…

Having a compelling offer

Let’s say you’ve now identified a group of people who need your services.

The next thing you need is a compelling offer now, this is what most people get absolutely wrong.

“People need plumbing done, so I am gonna be a plumber.”

Their message is…

“I am Mario the plumber, if you need to get plumbing done, call me.”

Now this is weak, and it’s not going to work either.

But if you actually look at most businesses…

That’s exactly what they do.

They say who they are, tell you their service and to call them if you need to get it done.

Your message needs to cut through the clutter, it needs to be unique, compelling, and persuasive.

You need to have some sort of offer, some sort of message or guarantee that is unique or at least sounds unique.

Otherwise, you will just be the five hundredth plumber competing with all the other Marios.

And if you’re thinking about saying: “I'm cheap/I'm the cheapest.”

For the love of god… Don’t be cheaper.

There will always be someone that is cheaper and you’re giving away all your value by being cheap.

This is probably the worst competitive advantage you can have.

Allright, now you have an audience of people that need whatever you’re selling, and you have an offer that stands out and is unique, the last key you need is to know…

How are you going to reach them

We all are very lucky to have the internet.

We are literally able to reach anyone, everywhere at any time.

Earlier in the days that wasn’t the case, it was truly hard and time consuming to reach people and you needed to come up with some crazy ideas to reach them properly.

Well, still today it can be hard to get clients depending on what business you have.

You just need to figure out what works best for you and stick to that, and the best way to reach a ton of clients almost instantly is still…

Meta ads, google ads, email marketing.

If you want to get more clients, just send me a message and we’ll schedule a quick 5 min call to see if we’re a good fit. Always happy to help out!
